DFS Stacks: Week 11 Winners

DFS stacks are necessary when building a slate-winning DFS lineup.  Every NFL DFS main slate for the remainder of the season is going to be absolutely loaded with strong plays across the salary spectrum. If you are building lineups for tournaments, GPPs, or large contests, it is absolutely imperative that you practice the art of stacking. Whether it’s a game stack or pure team stack, having multiple pieces of the most fantasy-friendly games on the slate is the way to separate you from the pack and push your roster to the top. Here are my favorite stacks to target this week in DFS Stacks: Week 11 Winners.

With that in mind, here are some of the top stacks for the Week 11 main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel.  I will also throw in a contrarian option for each stack in case these plays prove to be too chalky. So fire up the Soulja Boy, because we’re about to dive into some stacks on stacks on stacks.

Chiefs-Cowboys Stacks

Patrick Mahomes + Tyreek Hill + Michael Gallup/CeeDee Lamb

Just how popular is this game for DFS? Let’s just say that if this game ends up with like a 17-13 score, there are going to be a lot of very poor people in the DFS community come Monday morning.

This game opened at 55 implied points and has been bet up to 56.5 as of Thursday night. These two teams rank third (Kansas City) and fourth (Dallas) in passing yards per game, and they are both in the bottom-12 of opponents’ passing yards allowed per game.

If you run with Mahomes and Hill or Mahomes and Kelce, you are going to need some salary savings. Michael Gallup fills that role at just $4,200 on DK and $5,400 on FD. He saw five targets in his return to action last week and could easily catch a couple of deep balls against this Chiefs defense.

Lamb will likely be the more popular higher-priced Dallas receiver. He disappointed in the blowout against the Falcons in Week 10, but had 212 air yards in Week 9 and should be Dak Prescott’s preferred target.

Contrarian Stack: Dak Prescott + Amari Cooper + Travis Kelce

Vikings-Packers Stacks

Aaron Rodgers + Davante Adams + Justin Jefferson

This game has actually been bet down a point (to 47) since it opened early this week. But the consistency of Adams and the reemergence of Jefferson give this some fun shootout appeal, especially in the dome in Minnesota.

Both Rodgers and Adams – but especially Adams – have torched the Vikings in the past. Adams has 10 touchdowns in 13 games against the Vikings plus 10.6 yards per reception. Jefferson, after a relatively slow start to the year, had 11 targets for nine catches and 143 yards after Mike Zimmer said he needed to be more involved. This time the coach speak worked!

The Packers allow the second-lowest passing yards per completion to opponents, so the immovable object-irresistible force matchup between Jefferson and the Packers’ secondary should be phenomenal.

In large tournaments and in cash games, AJ Dillon will be mega chalk on Sunday. But you can differentiate with an unusual game stack if you still want to ride the Dillon train.

Contrarian Stack: Kirk Cousins + Adam Thielen + AJ Dillon

Bengals-Raiders Stacks

Joe Burrow + Ja’Marr Chase + Darren Waller

This is my favorite game of the week to use as leverage against the massively chalky Chiefs-Cowboys game. Both of these teams rank top-ten in most pass attempts per game in their last three and are bottom-seven in opponents’ points per play in the last three games.

Ja’Marr Chase is one of a number of capable receivers on the Bengals, this year, but he still leads the team in target share (25.7%), air yards share (40.9%), aDOT (13.16), and receiving yards (835). Chase is slightly priced up at $7,200 on DK and $7,700 on FD, but you can also pivot to Tee Higgins who will run you more than $1,000 on both sights.

Darren Waller is a very interesting tight end play in tournaments. I fully expect most rosters to include a spend-up like Travis Kelce or a punt play like Dan Arnold or Cole Kmet. Waller is sitting in that middle range ($6,100 on DK, $6.700 on FD) that finds very few rosters in DFS. Waller is third among all tight ends with 12 red zone targets this season and the Bengals allow their opponents to score a touchdown almost 57% of the time they reach that area.

Contrarian Stack: Derek Carr + Bryan Edwards + Joe Mixon

Other Interesting DFS Stacks

Nick Chubb + CLE DST + D’Andre Swift

Assuming Chubb is back in uniform on Sunday and all signs look good right now. He should be able to smash this Lions squad that allows the second-most fantasy points to running backs and third-most rushing touchdowns to opposing backs. Normally you don’t want opposing running backs, but Swift is the entire Lions’ offense right now. He leads the team in all rushing categories (obviously) as well as target share, yards after the catch, and touchdowns.

Josh Allen + Stefon Diggs + Michael Pittman

This game probably deserves top billing with the rest of the primary stacks, but there has been just enough inconsistency from both the Bills and the Colts to let me go all-in on these stacks. Diggs finally had his breakthrough game in Week 10, with 13 targets, eight catches, 162 receiving yards, and a score. We should see plenty of that going forward. Pittman has clearly emerged as the lead receiver in Indianapolis with a 22.4% target share, 720 receiving yards, and five touchdowns – all tops on the Colts. His receiving yards are more than 100 more than any other two Colts’ players combined.

D’Onta Foreman + TEN DST + Brandin Cooks

Revenge game + cheap running back + lousy rush defense lead me to think Foreman + TEN DST is a nice play this week that saves you a lot of salary elsewhere. Foreman is just $4,900 on DK after leading the Titan’s backfield in touches and yardage last week. He is $6,200 on FD so probably off the table there. But load up on DK against the Houston squad allowing the second-most rushing yards on the season. As always, Cooks is the only reliable fantasy asset on the Texans. His target share and air yards are still top-ten this season, and we can only hope Tyrod Taylor provides better touchdown equity than Davis Mills (Mills ranks 31st in catchable pass rate).
