Tee Higgins – Cincinnati Bengals

You can really go two ways with Tee Higgins right now. On one hand, he looks like a high upside young wide receiver, who could put up a ton of points.  On the other hand, he’s going to be fighting for catches in this crowded Bengals receiver room led by Joe Burrow returning from his injury and stuck behind an atrocious offensive line. Higgins has a budding star quarterback in Burrow, but the Bengals also drafted a similar skill-set (and what should be much better) wide receiver in Ja’Marr Cbengals-fantasy-tee-higgins-dynastyhase. Add Tyler Boyd into the mix as the slot receiver who is consistently underrated and Joe Mixon demanding touches out of the backfield, and Higgins could have a hard time finding targets this year.

For all these reasons I would entertain some offers for Higgins. You might find someone in your league not buying into Boyd being the secondary target in this offense and get a WR2 in exchange. You may also find someone who loved Higgins as a prospect and thinks he has just as much of a chance to be a stud as Chase does. Higgins might be worth putting on the trade block right now in a tough situation where he might not get the volume needed to be the fantasy producer that some think he will.

Corey Davis – New York Jets

Corey Davis was in the best possible situation last year with a great offense opposite of a stud in AJ Brown. The Titans had a top-five rushing attack, a dominant wide receiver on the opposite side of the field, a tight end cleaning up the middle of the field, and a very solid quarterback. Now he’s on the Jets. Do I need to say much more? He has a rookie quarterback in Zach Wilson that has probably more question marks surrounding him than answers. The running back situation is in-flux at best. Davis is being touted as the number one receiver on the team, but we’ll actually see if that is the truth when the balls start flying for real. Now he’s got rookie Elijah Moore and second-year receiver Denzel Mims who both have arguably just as much upside. With all that being said, if you can cash in on his perceived value, you should take that chance. If you can get a solid WR3 in exchange for Davis, that would be a decent return. Put him on the trade block and there might be a few owners who still believe in Davis or still are in denial after spending a very high rookie draft pick on him.

Julio Jones – Tennessee Titans

Yes, I included the biggest trade of the offseason in this as a sell. I don’t think I have to yell it too loud for everyone to believe me that Julio Jones has been dominant during his career. From 2014-2019 he averaged 104 receptions for 1,565 yards and six touchdowns. That comes out to 245 fantasy points per season. Last year, before he missed time, he was on pace for 91 catches, 1,370 yards, and five touchdowns. You can’t bring up Jones without talking about his injuries in recent years as well. He has frequently been tagged with the “injury-prone” status, but from 2014-2019 he only missed four games. He almost always has some injury designation heading into his game, but the dude always plays.

Wow, I’m almost reconsidering putting him on my sell list! However, Jones is one of those sells that is highly based upon your team’s current situation. If your team is in rebuild mode, Jones is 32 and has some decent trade value as he should have some nice value this year with Tannehill and Brown. That being said, it might be a good time to move on from Jones and see what you can get in return. If your team is competing for the championship right now, you may want to ride it out with Jones, but even then it’s still worth testing the waters. His trade value might be tricky, due to his age and that injury-prone ideology, but just bring up some of those numbers talked about earlier and you should be able to market him for some high draft picks or a young WR2 with some upside.
