Welcome to the Faceoff Rookie Stock Market. As dynasty advisors, we must set you up for long-term success and help you create a strong dynasty portfolio.

This will be a season-long series where we discuss rookie buys and sells. This week we will be discussing rookies you should consider buying, so let’s dive right in.

Garrett Wilson ($WLSN) – WR / NYJ

Garrett Wilson’s Week 2 performance confirmed why he is my #1 wide receiver in the 2022 class. Through two weeks he is averaging 6/77/1. If you’ve read my article about early season wide receiver production you know this puts him in the elite tier of rookies. If you want him on your dynasty roster you need to be aggressively targeting him now before it’s too late.

Suggested Buy: 2023 Mid 1st + 2023 Late 2nd

Jahan Dotson ($DOTS) – WR / WAS

The dynasty community made the mistake of sleeping on Dotson because they felt he didn’t have the upside. Through two weeks he has shown that to be far from true. He is averaging a 93.5% snap percentage with a stat line of 3.5/49.5/1.5. He continues to show off his impressive hands which was one of his stand-out traits in college.

Suggested Buy: 2023 Late 1st

Chris Olave ($OLVE) – WR / NO

This 2022 1st Round wide receiver class is already looking very impressive. Chris Olave is no exception. In Week 2, Olave had an insane 13 targets, 28% target share, and 365 air yards. The Jameis Winston-Olave connection is still developing, but he had an impressive 5/80/0. Hold tight, because Olave is going to pay off big time.

Suggested Buy: 2023 Late 1st + 2023 Late 2nd

Drake London ($LNDN) – WR / ATL

It has been two weeks and Drake London is already taking over the Falcon’s passing offense. He is averaging nearly 10 targets a game with an impressive 6.5/80/.5 average through two weeks. If the Falcons land a top quarterback in the 2023 NFL Draft, London could blow up.

Suggested Buy: 2023 Mid 1st + 2023 Late 2nd

Kenneth Walker III ($WALK) – RB / SEA

Walker saw his first action of the NFL season this week, and while the stat line wasn’t impressive, I think dynasty managers should be optimistic. The major critique of Walker as a prospect was his lack of pass-catching in college. I have always thought that was a bit overblown. Walker looked natural catching the ball against the 49ers and saw three targets compared to zero for Penny.

Suggested Buy: 2023 Mid 1st

Dameon Pierce ($DAME) – RB / HOU

After receiving a 29% snap share in Week 1, Pierce’s usage made a significant jump to 62% in Week 2. He finished the week with 16 touches and 77 total yards compared to Burkhead’s two total touches for just 9 yards. Pierce looks on track to fully take control of the Houston backfield, the biggest question is if the offense will be good enough to put him in a position to score.

Suggested Buy: 2023 Mid 2nd + 2024 Mid 2nd
