Fantasy Football Outlook – Robert Woods To The Titans
Veteran wide receiver Robert Woods has been traded to the Tennessee Titans for a 2023 6th-Round pick. Woods is coming back from a torn ACL but should be fully healthy to start the 2022 season. Last season, he had 45 receptions for 556 yards and four touchdowns in nine games. Let’s take a look at his fantasy value for Redraft and Dynasty leagues.
Redraft Outlook
I think Woods will have decent value in redraft leagues this year. He’s competing for targets at wide receiver with rookie Treylon Burks, Nick Westbrook-lkhine, and Dez Fitzpatrick. I could see him being the Titans WR1 while Burks gets acclimated with the NFL and the Titans playbook. He should have a nice target share with AJ Brown gone with the Eagles. I can see him being Tannehill’s new favorite target now that Brown and Julio Jones are gone.
Dynasty Outlook
I’d be looking to trade Woods in most cases for dynasty purposes. He’s 30 years old and coming off a major injury. The spike in value makes for the perfect trading opportunity. I would be looking to acquire 2023 draft capital and/or a younger wide receiver for him. I’d move him whether I was competing this season or rebuilding. If you can’t get a decent return, just hold him and he’ll help you win now. That being said, this could be his peak value going forward in dynasty leagues.
