This past Sunday, we saw the crash and burn for Cam Newton, and Joe Mixon proves the preseason doubters wrong. With the fantasy playoffs just a couple of weeks away, we have several byes this coming week. The Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and Tennessee Titans are all on a bye. Next week, Week 14, is the final bye week for teams, which is the end of the regular season for fantasy. Some leagues, such as the Scott Fishbowl, are entering the final week before the playoffs. Let’s get right to it with Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Week 13.

Running Backs

Dontrell Hilliard, Tennessee Titans, 28% rostered

With the Titans on a bye, you may have a chance to sneak him onto your team. Hilliard rushed 12 times for 131 yards and a long 68-yard touchdown. He also caught one of two targets for 2 yards.  With D’Onta Foreman carving a role as well, it looks like a true split in this backfield with Adrian Peterson cut.

D’Onta Foreman, Tennessee Titans, 41% rostered

Similar to Dontrell Hilliard, D’Onta Foreman may sneak through the waiver claims with his team on a bye. He rushed 19 times for 109 yards. He also caught his only target for three yards. With Jeremy McNichols still out with a concussion, it seems like this backfield is a 2 player show with Hilliard and Foreman, and both need to be rostered.

Tevin Coleman, New York Jets, 24% rostered

With Michael Carter out, it was assumed Ty Johnson would be the lead back, but Tevin Coleman led the way Sunday in the Jets win. He rushed 16 times for 67 yards and caught two of three targets for 3 yards. With Carter on IR, Coleman seems to be the back to the roster in New York. It should be noted, the run game has been smooth lately with the benching of Greg Van Roten, and their newly acquired right guard, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif starting.

Matt Breida, Buffalo Bills, 6% rostered

Thanksgiving was the Matt Breida show or hyped up to be so. He saw nine carries for 26 yards and caught both of his targets for 29 yards and a touchdown. With Zack Moss benched, Breida and Devin Singletary split carries. Singletary saw 15 carries to Breida’s nine. As it stands now, Breida complicates the backfield but has earned the ability to see more touches down the road.

Boston Scott, Philadelphia Eagles, 17% rostered

The only reason I have Boston Scott on here is that he plays the Jets next week who is one of the worst rushing defenses in the league. On Sunday against the Giants, he rushed 15 times for 64 yards and a touchdown. He also caught two of three targets for eight yards. He did lose a fumble in the loss but led the team in carries compared to Miles Sanders’ nine carries.

Jamaal Williams, Detroit Lions, 46% rostered

Depending on the severity of D’Andre Swift’s shoulder sprain, Jamaal Williams could be a top priority in the waiver wire. With Swift down, he took 15 carries for 65 yards and caught all five of his targets for 18 yards. Swift’s status is on a day-to-day basis right now, but if Williams is available, I would be throwing a claim in.

Phillip Lindsay, Miami Dolphins, 11% rostered (Deeper Leagues)

In his first game with the Miami Dolphins, Phillip Lindsay took 12 carries for 42 yards. Myles Gaskin saw 16 carries for 49 yards and two touchdowns, but it’s of note that the rushing totals were equal. It’s a wait-and-see approach to how this plays out, but Lindsay could work his way into some value here.

Wide Receivers

Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons, 19% rostered

Outside of Kyle Pitts, Russell Gage is the Atlanta Falcons WR1. Except for the week 10 dud, he has been seeing volume in this offense. On Sunday, he caught six of seven targets for 62 yards and a touchdown. In a 12 team league or deeper, Gage is a decent WR3 option.

Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots, 15% rostered

Kendrick Bourne is beginning to break out with Mac Jones. He caught five of six targets for 61 yards and two touchdowns. In his last three games, he has scored over 20 fantasy points in two of his last three games with a showdown against the Buffalo Bills next. Bourne is becoming a low-end WR2, high-end WR3 play.

Van Jefferson, Los Angeles Rams, 43% rostered

Van Jefferson had a very odd stat line, he caught only three catches on nine total targets for 93 yards but had a long 79-yard touchdown. He is being targeted often in this offense and needs to be rostered all over in fantasy with the playoffs coming up.

Desean Jackson, Las Vegas Raiders, 3% rostered (Deeper Leagues)

Desean Jackson shouldn’t be considered a reliable target, but he can put up a good performance here and there. On Thanksgiving, he caught three of four targets for 102 yards and a long 56-yard touchdown. If you need a WR3-4, Jackson isn’t a bad flier.

Cedric Wilson, Dallas Cowboys, 15% rostered (Deeper/Dynasty Leagues)

With Amari Cooper and Ceedee Lamb expected back. Cedric Wilson will go back to being a WR4 for the Cowboys. On Thanksgiving, he caught seven of ten targets for 104 yards. He should be a dynasty add, as Michael Gallup is set to be a free agent, and Wilson would slide in as Dallas’ WR3 next season.

Tight Ends

Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears, 13% rostered

Granted this is with Andy Dalton, but Cole Kmet had a nice showing on Thanksgiving. He caught eight of eleven targets for 65 yards. If you need a bye week replacement, Kmet lines up as a decent flier.

Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts, 1% rostered

If you need a bye week replacement, Jack Doyle has been a decent fill-in. On Sunday, he caught six of seven targets for 81 yards and a touchdown. He has been putting up decent numbers each week and lines up to play the Texans on the road next week.

Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders, 1% rostered (Deeper/Dynasty Leagues)

This add here is only if Darren Waller misses any time. When Waller was out, Foster Moreau caught all six of his targets for 60 yards and a touchdown and would be a good add if Waller is forced to miss time.
