C.J. Gardner-Johnson (DB) – Philadelphia Eagles

Traded to the Eagles earlier this year from the New Orleans Saints in what was a steal for Philadelphia. Gardner-Johnson has also been a steal in fantasy for anyone who picked him up. He has three straight games with over 20 points and four straight games with an interception. He is averaging five tackles per game and is on pace to score over 100 points more than his career-high.

Josh Allen (DL) – Jacksonville Jaguars

Allen came into the season ranked as a top 5-6 defensive lineman in dynasty leagues by many, but is not having the year most expected. He is currently sitting outside the top 40 with five straight games of five or fewer points. In those five games, he failed to record more than three tackles or a sack in any of them. In three of his last five games, he has less than 80% snap percentage.

Cody Barton (LB) – Seattle Seahawks

Barton started off hot with double-digit points in four of his first five games along with six or more tackles. Since then he has cooled off big time with double-digit points in only one of his last four games and fewer than six tackles in all four.  In the first three weeks, his snap percentage was over 90%  but since then he has failed to reach 80% in any game. Until he sees a significant increase in snaps he should not be started.

Jalen Pitre (DB) – Houston Texans

Pitre was a 2nd Round pick out of Baylor and is off to a great start in his rookie season. He has double-digit points in six of eight games as well as six or more tackles in those games. In the first five games, he played in 100% of the snaps and since then has played at least 80% of the snaps. Pitre is one of three rookie defensive backs in the top 15 this season.

C. J. Mosley (LB) – New York Jets

Mosley is having another great season s he goes into the bye week. He has double-digit points in every single game this season and double-digit tackles in six of nine games. The last time Mosley scored fewer than 10 points was in Week 1 last season. At age 30 Mosley should still have another two years left making him a great trade target for a contending team.
