Jahmyr Gibbs To See UNCONVENTIONAL USAGE With Lions – Fantasy Football Outlook
It’s being reported that the Lions could use Jahmyr Gibbs in “unconventional ways”. What does this mean exactly? Furthermore, there were reports about Gibbs being potentially the team’s downfield threat. What’s more important, is what does this mean for fantasy football? Certainly, volume translates to fantasy football points. So needless to say, this is great news for fantasy football managers who drafted Gibbs.
Recently, the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator, Ben Johnson, said that they might use Gibbs “in some ways” that people wouldn’t think of.
The Lions did not get what they expected out of D’Andre Swift, that much is clear. Now, Gibbs can step into this offense and potentially be everything they wanted out of Swift and more.
Personally, I believe David Montgomery will still get the goal line work. However, the majority of the usage could be given to the rookie as soon as in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Overall, this means that Gibbs will still be potentially a massive fantasy football asset.
