NFL Week 1 Prop Bets, Odds, and Best Bets
With the season opener behind us, the first official Sunday of the 2022 NFL season features a 14-game slate as well as an abundance of betting opportunities correlating with popular NFL markets. However, one of the most popular ways to bet on NFL markets comes in the form of NFL player props.
Player props have nothing to do with the overall outcome of the game or the final score. Instead, when you bet on a player prop, you are betting on the outcome of an individual player’s performance in a unique statistical category during a game
In this article, the staff of the Faceoff Sports Network compiled their top player props for the remaining games on of the NFL Week 1 slate.

Eagles @ Lions
Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 55.5 Receiving Yards
The Lions are going to be a fiery offense this year starting with a week 1 upset against Philadelphia. Leading the way will be sophomore St. Brown. 55.5 receiving yards is an easy prop to beat in the season debut. –Benjamin Ditlevson
D’Andre Swift anytime TD
DraftKings +125
If D’Andre Swift is expecting 1000 rushing and 1000 receiving yards this season, he better be scoring touchdowns too. He takes on an Eagles team that ranked bottom six in red-zone defense and 23rd in 3rd-down defense. With a healthy Hockenson back in the lineup and a legitimate wide receiver core around Goff, having Swift as an easy dump-off should easily lead to a touchdown this week. -Ryan Miner
Steelers @ Bengals
Najee Harris UNDER 58.5 rushing yards
Call it what you want but in nine of his 15 games last season, Harris had less than 61 rushing yards. The Cincinnati Bengals had the fifth-best run defense last season and quietly improved their defense overall. Harris should have a tough day ahead of him. -Ryan Miner
Browns @ Panthers
Baker Mayfield OVER 1.5 TD Passes
In a pure revenge game narrative, Mayfield lights up his former club via the pass-catching skills of Moore and McCaffrey. Two scores should easily be attained. –Benjamin Ditlevson
Ravens @ Jets
Lamar Jackson OVER 0.5 INT
The Jets’ defense isn’t bad. Sauce Gardner might be the best young pass defender in the league. On top of that, Jackson still makes mistakes as his INTs have gone up every year. In 2012, he threw 13 in 12 games. –Benjamin Ditlevson
Packers @ Vikings
AJ Dillon Over 2.5 receptions
No more Davante Adams this offense is going to run differently. Allen Lazard is listed as doubtful and we’re looking at Randall Cobb being the known veteran along with Sammy Watkins and rookie wide receivers. Aaron Jones is going to get his share and so will AJ Dillon. Last season Dillon averaged two targets a game, but when Aaron Jones was out, he was north of three targets. This is an easy over as Dillon should be at no worst #3 in targets against a Minnesota team. -Ryan Miner
Raiders @ Chargers
Raiders +3.5
In the past four games — all in the Justin Herbert era — the Raiders have covered the spread two times. Furthermore, three of those four meetings have been decided by fewer than five points, two of which by three points in games that went into overtime. 5-1 ATS in their past six Week 1 games overall, look for the Raiders to cover in the season opener. – Anthony Cervino
Chiefs @ Cardinals
Kyler Murray anytime TD
In 2021, the Chiefs allowed a league-high seven rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks while yielding the fifth most rushing yards. Meanwhile, a healthy and now paid Kyler Murray will have no issue taking off, especially in a game where points will need to be scored and the Cardainsl will be down both DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) and Rondale Moore (injury). – Anthony Cervino
Buccaneers @ Cowboys
Dak Prescott to throw for 2 TDs
The Buccaneers allowed the fourth most fantasy points to enemy signal callers in 2021, which bodes well for Dak Prescott’s Over 1.5 passing touchdown total. In last year’s season opener agasint the Bucs, Prescott threw for 403 yards and three scores. Still, the handicap of the Bucs’ defense, look for Prescott to keep Dallas hanging around through the air. – Anthony Cervino
