Wild Card Weekend – Free Player Prop Bets for Sunday

Welcome back to Fanelli’s Fave Five Prop Bets.

Just like that, the 2023-2024 NFL Playoffs are here. Before we know it, the Super Bowl will be here as well. Hopefully, bettors came away with more money in their pockets than they started the season with. However, the grind never stops. So, let’s not waste any time and get down to business.

Sunday is the second day of Wild Card Weekend. The first matchup is between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills led by Josh Allen. Next, the Green Bay Packers take on Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. Lastly, we finish the slate with a contest between Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams against Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions.

While fans will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention, sports bettors only care about making money. However, which prop bets will lead to cash in their pockets? Here are my five favorite prop bets for Sunday’s Wild Card Weekend games.

All props and odds are from DraftKings.

Josh Allen to Score an Anytime Touchdown (+105)

Unfortunately, the weather for Sunday’s matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills will limit both team’s ability to throw the ball. Thankfully, Allen’s rushing ability plays into the cold weather and snow for this game. The superstar quarterback had 15 rushing touchdowns during the regular season, the second-most in the NFL. Furthermore, he had at least one rushing touchdown in 70.6% of the games, including 10 of the past 12 and five straight before last week. Hopefully, the Bills will reconsider and put a roof on their new stadium.

Jayden Reed Over 49.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

While Christian Watson could play on Sunday after missing the past five weeks with a hamstring injury, Reed has taken over as the No. 1 wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers. The rookie averaged 49.6 receiving yards per game during the regular season. However, he played better in the second half of the year, averaging 57.5 receiving yards per game over the past nine weeks. Furthermore, Reed had a career-high 112 receiving yards last week on only four targets.

CeeDee Lamb to Score an Anytime Touchdown (-170)

There hasn’t been a better wide receiver in the NFL than Lamb this season. The superstar finished third in the NFL with 13 receiving touchdowns despite having only one over the first seven weeks. Lamb has averaged 1.3 touchdowns per game since the Week 8 bye, finding the end zone at least once in all but one contest. Furthermore, he has a touchdown in nine consecutive contests, including twice in two of those matchups. Lamb should find the end zone at least once in this game.

Cooper Kupp Over 68.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Kupp averaged 73 receiving yards per game in the nine contests he played at least 70% of the snaps with Matthew Stafford. More importantly, the veteran quarterback trusts the former Eastern Washington star in critical games, including the playoffs. The last time the Los Angeles Rams made the playoffs, the superstar wide receiver averaged 119.5 receiving yards per game, totaling 92 or more in all but one. The best thing Stafford can do to beat his former team is to target Kupp early and often in this contest.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 88.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

The Detroit Lions listed tight end Sam LaPorta as questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The rookie practiced in full on Friday – a good sign that he will play in the game. However, he won’t be at 100%, and the Rams know it. Therefore, don’t be surprised if Jared Goff leans more than usual on St. Brown. The superstar wide receiver averaged 94.7 receiving yards per game during the regular season, totaling 106 or more in three of the past four weeks.
