2024 NFL Draft Eligible Top Prospects Transferring

It’s always interesting to see how the quarterback landscape plays out when teams bring in freshman quarterbacks or others from the transfer portal. We saw Nebraska land the top quarterback in the class of 2024, Dylan Raiola, which could have led to the reason quarterback Chubba Purdy entered the transfer portal.

One of the more interesting quarterbacks to enter the portal was Miami’s Tyler Van Dyke, who, at one point in his career, was regarded as a first-round quarterback. While his play has been up and down, Van Dyke could benefit from a change of scenery in Wisconsin.

Another interesting quarterback to watch is Will Rogers, the former Mississippi State quarterback who has officially transferred to Washington. We saw the impact Michael Penix Jr. had on the Huskies after he transferred from Nebraska, leading many to believe Rogers could have a similar path to success with what he showed with the Bulldogs.

An exciting name to keep an eye on is former South Alabama wide receiver Caulin Lacy, who decided to enter the transfer portal and commit to Louisville. The Cardinals were on the rise all year, ranking as high as number nine in the AP Top 25 this season. Adding a dangerous weapon after losing a dynamic player like Jamari Thrash to the 2024 NFL Draft will be vital for Lousiville to keep the upward trend they currently have going.
