5 2024 NFL Draft Risers: Florida State WR Keon Coleman is a MONSTER
As the college football season continues, matchups are getting stronger for prospects to make their case to rise up the 2024 NFL Draft rankings. There were plenty of tough tests for players who still have questions surrounding their game, and we got a few answers this weekend. Here are the top five players that stood out on film.
Florida State WR Keon Coleman has top 15 NFL Draft pick potential
The Seminoles struck gold getting Coleman from the transfer portal this season. Originally playing for the Michigan Spartans, he’s building off of a strong 2022 season and is quickly becoming one of the best wide receivers in the country. He logged nine catches for 140 yards against Syracuse this weekend and notched his seventh touchdown, matching his career high. While no other receiver is going to compare to Marvin Harrison Jr. at Ohio State, Coleman has made his case to be a top 15 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Coastal Carolina QB Grayson McCall has a huge bounce-back game
The 2024 NFL Draft class of quarterbacks is immensely hyped, and rightfully so. Needless to say, there are several talented gunslingers. However, one that hasn’t been talked about a lot this season is McCall from Coastal Carolina.
McCall has been up and down this year, with his worst game coming the week prior against Georgia Southern. During that game, he threw four interceptions in a tough loss. Then, he bounced back nicely against a solid Appalachian State team. More importantly, he threw for 373 yards and two touchdowns in a last-second victory. While he’s still a late-round selection, there’s a lot of intrigue about what he can bring to an NFL team.

Who is the top RB in the 2024 NFL Draft? It’s up for grabs
It seems that none of the running backs eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft want to stake their claim as the top back available. There are many names that have a lot of potential to break away from the pack but haven’t yet. Names like Blake Corum, Trey Benson, and Audric Estime have been good but inconsistent. However, the only back in my top 50 is Texas Longhorns Jonathon Brooks.
In his last four games, he has 614 yards on 82 carries, averaging 7.5 yards with six touchdowns. Coming off of a bye week, Brooks is locking down the RB1 spot for the upcoming NFL Draft.
Missouri DL Darius Robinson has a major boost in NFL Draft stock
The defensive line has a strong class for the 2024 NFL Draft, making each week vital for players like Robinson. He took full advantage to boost his draft stock this week, adding six tackles and two sacks to his total stats on the year against a solid Kentucky offense. Furthermore, what was on display the most was his athleticism and ability to stay in his rush despite double teams or chip blocks. All in all, Robinson is certainly on his way up the defensive line rankings after the past three performances.

Notre Dame DB Xavier Watts has a breakout game against USC
A big question coming into the game against Caleb Williams and USC was how Notre Dame’s secondary was going to fare throughout four quarters. They withstood the test, led by Watts, the former wide receiver turned safety. He’s put together a couple of solid games throughout the season. However, none bigger than last weekend, where he had seven tackles and a forced fumble that he recovered. Not to mention, two interceptions against the best quarterback in the country. Overall, this is certainly a game that scouts will replay to get a feel of where he could go in the upcoming NFL Draft.
