Allen Robinson to Rams Dynasty Impact
This has been a huge off-season for wide receivers with many wild and surprising moves one of which is Allen Robinson to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams signed Robinson to a three-year $46.5 million deal in March. What fantasy impact will this have on Allen Robinson, Matthew Stafford, and the Rams’ offense as a whole? Let us start by looking at the fantasy impact it will have on Robinson.
Allen Robinson
Robinson has got to be happy now getting to play on a Superbowl winning team with Stafford who is by far the best quarterback Robinson will have played with and will get to truly showcase his talents as a wide receiver. Robinson has had three seasons with over 1,000 yards with Blake Bortles, Mitch Trubisky, and Nick Foles. To give you an idea of just how big of an upgrade Stafford is over those three quarterbacks, with one fewer start than Bortles, Trubisky, and Foles combined Stafford has over 7,000 more passing yards! So just imagine what Robinson could do with a far superior quarterback in Matthew Stafford.
Robinson is also going to play alongside Cooper Kupp who is going to get the majority of the attention from the defense allowing him the opportunity to feast on No. 2 cornerbacks. Before he signed with the Rams many in the fantasy community were down on Robinson and he was being traded fairly cheap. I got a feeling many of those who traded him will regret doing so. I see a big bounce-back season for Robinson and as I stated in another article a top 12 finish for him.

Matthew Stafford
The Robinson signing is good news for Stafford with the trade of Robert Woods to Tennessee and the uncertainty of Odell Beckham Jr. resigning. Robinson gives Stafford another true WR1 to throw to besides Kupp and not many quarterbacks can say they have two WR1 options to throw to. If Beckham doesn’t resign I see Van Jefferson taking another step forward in this offense. With another season in McVay’s system and the weapons he has around him, there is no doubt this will be another big year for Stafford and a good shot at finishing as a top-five quarterback.
Los Angeles Rams Offense
This Rams offense can be even more dangerous than last year and a nightmare for defenses. I feel Robinson is an upgrade over Woods and Cam Akers will be a full year removed from his Achilles injury. With defenses fearing Kupp, Robinson, and Van Jefferson, Akers should see a lot of light boxes and some good running lanes. If Akers can regain the speed and explosiveness he had pre-injury he could be in for a big year. This will be a fun offense to watch unless you are a fan of the opposing team.
