DFS Cash Game Picks – NFL Week 11

DFS-Cash-Game-Picks-NFL-Week-11

Welcome back to another edition of DFS Cash Game Picks. In this series, we target some expensive players who are worth paying for. Additionally, we have some value plays as well. We’ll be breaking down the best DFS picks you should be targeting in Week 11 of the NFL season.

Last week was another good week of picks. Both quarterbacks were awesome and both running backs were able to find the end zone. A couple of the value plays were disappointing but I have a great feeling about this week’s value players. Check out last week’s recap below followed by my Week 11 picks. Good luck!

Week 10 Recap

Smash

Geno Smith finished as the QB4 with his personal season high of 27.06 fantasy points.

Justin Herbert was the QB2 scoring 32.42 fantasy points.

Tyler Lockett scored a late touchdown to cap off a good day scoring 23.20 fantasy points.

Najee Harris despite being under the 5,000 range in salary was the 9th-highest scoring running back at 18.60 points.

Duds

The New Orleans Saints defense couldn’t stop Joshua Dobbs en route to a whopping 1.0 point.

Jameson Williams scored a touchdown, however, that was called back due to a penalty, and only scored 3.80 points.

Chigoziem Okonkwo and the entire Tennessee Titans offense were shut down. They were unable to score a single touchdown and Chig finished with 5.70 points.

Week 11 DFS Cash Game Picks

Quarterbacks

Justin Fields ($6,900)

Fields was playing the best football of his NFL career before the thumb injury knocked him out for multiple weeks. Fresh off his return from injury, this is a great spot to catch Fields at low ownership. His opponent this week is the division rival Detroit Lions. The Lions are a bottom-10 defense in terms of fantasy points surrendered to quarterbacks.

More importantly, the Bears offensive line has gotten healthy in Fields’ absence which has been a huge boost for the offense. Fields has had some great games against the Lions in the past and now he will need to perform at a high level over the last half of the season if he wants to remain the quarterback in Chicago.

Brock Purdy ($5,800)

Purdy played great last week and has most of the season. When Purdy struggles it’s typically when Deebo Samuel is not in the lineup. However, he returned from injury last week and that was a huge boost for Purdy. His salary for some reason is still very cheap for his potential.

Purdy averages more points per game than five quarterbacks more expensive than him. Additionally, he has scored over 20 DraftKings points in 5/9 games this season. More importantly, he’s done it in back-to-back games. He should be able to keep that going against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They have a strong run defense but aren’t nearly as good against the pass.

Running Backs

Tony Pollard ($6,600)

Pollard has been one of the biggest fantasy busts of the season. He has yet to score a touchdown since week 1 and has only eclipsed 100 rushing yards in one game. That seems absurd considering the Cowboys have scored an average of 29.9 points per game this season. This is a great week for Pollard to find the end zone again. He will face off against the Carolina Panthers defense who have allowed a league-high 13 touchdowns to running backs on the year. Look for Pollard to find paydirt this Sunday.

Tyjae Spears ($4,600)

Derrick Henry is still the starting running back in Tennessee. However, Spears has actually played more snaps than Henry each of the last two weeks. When the Titans are playing from behind, Spears is the guy they turn to. This week they head into Jacksonville to face the Jaguars, where they are 6.5-point underdogs. That will likely result in Spears seeing the bigger snap count as they play from behind. More importantly, the Jaguars allow the most receptions in the NFL to running backs, as well as the third most receiving yards. The stars align for Spears to have a very good game on Sunday.

Wide Receivers

Puka Nacua ($7,100)

The bye week was much needed for the Los Angeles Rams. The most important thing during the bye was for Matthew Stafford to get healthy. Stafford is now expected to play Sunday and that’s a huge boost for Nacua. The Rams will get a matchup against a division rival, the Seattle Seahawks. Nacua played his first career game against the Seahawks and went for 119 receiving yards on 10 receptions. Granted that was without Cooper Kupp but Nacua has proven he can still do damage with Kupp in the lineup.

DJ Moore ($5,600)

Moore is getting his QB1 back, yet his salary is in the $5,000s? That doesn’t make much sense given their potential but these situations you need to capitalize on. Fields got hurt in the game against Minnesota. Heading into that game Fields and Moore were coming off a two-week stretch that produced 361 yards and four touchdowns. They could easily break this slate against a Lions team that has allowed wide receivers to score the third most touchdowns in the NFL. This game should be another high-scoring matchup and the Fields/Moore stack could be the tournament-winning stack.

Tight Ends

Dalton Kincaid ($4,900)

Kincaid has really turned it on the last four weeks since Dawson Knox went down with an injury. He is the number two target on the Bills behind Stefon Diggs. With Diggs and Allen seemingly having middle school drama, Kincaid could shoot up to the number one target this week against the New York Jets. Yes, the Jets do have a very tough defense with elite cornerbacks. However, one way they have been beaten this season has been by tight ends. They have allowed a league-high six touchdowns to the tight end position this season. Look for Kincaid to continue his impressive rookie campaign with another very good week.

Luke Musgrave ($3,600)

Musgrave has had a solid rookie season thus far, despite being on an inconsistent offense. He has at least 49 receiving yards in 4/9 games this season. Furthermore, in the last two games he has 51 and 64 receiving yards, while also adding his first career touchdown. He should be the focal point of the offense this week because the Los Angeles Chargers allow the second most yards per game to tight ends. The rookie out of Oregon State should keep the momentum going, as he looks to finish strong in the second half of the season.

Defense / Special Teams

Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,500)

DTR looked absolutely lost in his first career start a few weeks ago. In that game, he turned the ball over three times and was sacked four times. Now he will face a Steelers defense that will make things very tough on the rookie. The Steelers have forced at least one interception and one sack in each of their last five games. The last time these teams faced in week 2, the Steelers scored a season-high 26 DraftKings points. Look for the Steelers defense to rack up the fantasy points this week.
