We’re back for another preseason breakdown, this time for Week 2. If you are betting on the preseason, don’t go crazy, but it’s an opportunity to throw a little money down, get some more interest in these games, and learn more about the teams and players. Or if you’re a degenerate like we all at the Faceoff Sports Network are and just want something to bet on. I will be with you guys all season long, you can follow all my picks and records here.

Bengals @ Giants -5, Over 38.5

Danny Dimes or Danny Pennies or whatever you want to call Daniel Jones is expected to get a decent amount of burn in this game. Tyrod Taylor will also get a good chunk of time followed by former California University quarterback Davis Webb.

As for the Bengals, Joe Burrow will not be playing. It will be a mix of Jake Browning, Brandon Allen, and Drew Plitt. This spread has moved all the way to 5 points up from the previous 3.5 where it started. I will still be rolling with the Giants and their quarterback experience with Jones and Taylor.

Let’s also take the over 38.5 here as the Bengals allowed 36 points last week to Trace McSorley and the Cardinals. Buy the hook down to an even 38 if you can.

Ravens -5.5 @ Cardinals, Over 38.5

This is a Trace McSorley revenge game against his former team the Ravens. The Ravens look to continue to take care of business in the preseason with a winning streak now of 21-straight preseason wins. Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray both will not play in this one also Colt McCoy is doubtful for the Cards. That leaves McSorley and Jarrett Guarantano, the North Jersey Native, to play quarterback. These two did light up the Bengals defense last week, but the Ravens have very solid backup quarterback options with Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown.

Give me the Ravens to cover and also extend that preseason winning streak. I’ll also be taking the over since we have a bunch of running quarterbacks in this game that will extend and make plays against a bunch of guys who will be cut in the next week or two.
