After much consideration, the NFL finally announced that the New York Jets will be featured on Hard Knocks this year. The Jets were one of just four teams who were eligible to be featured on the HBO and NFL Films series this year. Finally, it was decided that the Jets would be the featured team on the annual training camp series for the upcoming 2023 NFL season.
Back in 2010, the Jets were also featured in this series. During this season, Jets’ head coach Rex Ryan was leading the way as the team advanced all the way to the AFC Championship. In the end, they lost to the Steelers, 19-24.
This year, we will get to see Aaron Rodgers featured as the new face of the franchise. Despite struggling in recent years, the Jets are loaded with some exciting, young players such as Garrett Wilson, Sauce Gardner, and Breece Hall. Needless to say, this will be a fun one to follow. Whether you’re a Jets fan, an NFL fan, or a hardcore fantasy football fan, it should be entertaining.
This series begins on August 8th at 10 PM EST. It will be available to stream on HBO Max. All in all, there will be five episodes this year. Each new episode will begin on Tuesday nights at 10 PM, with the final episode airing on September 5th. This comes just two days before the kickoff of the 2023 NFL season as the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Detroit Lions.
