Aidan Hutchinson (DL) – Detroit Lions

Hutchinson had a monster game in Week 2 and showed why he deserved to be drafted as the No.2 overall pick. He had three sacks, three hits on the quarterback, and two of his six tackles were for a loss. This kid is extremely talented and I believe he will be a problem for quarterbacks for many years. I know he has only played two games but I see him being great in fantasy for a long time.

Micah Parsons (DL, LB) – Dallas Cowboys

Parsons is young and ridiculously talented. Since entering the league he has shown he is an elite IDP. In Week 2 he had two tackles for a loss, two sacks, and five hits on the quarterback! In leagues like Sleeper where he has DL and LB eligibility, he is a Konami code. He is for IDP what everyone expects Kyle Pitts to be for the tight end position. Parsons will be one of the best, if not the best defensive player in the league for the next 10 years. Just starting his second year in the league and he has five games with multiple sacks.

Pete Werner (LB) – New Orleans Saints

Pete Werner was a 2nd Round pick back in 2021 but didn’t get a ton of snaps. He’s getting more opportunities this season and taking advantage of them. It doesn’t hurt being in Dennis Allen’s defense where he is leading the league in tackles after Week 2. Now that he is a full-time starter in this defense, he has a shot at being a star in IDP. He is someone I would target in trades as he is not a big-name player yet but is young and on a great defense.

Blake Martinez (LB) – Free Agent

Martinez visited the Ravens on Tuesday and is visiting the Raiders on Friday. He has a connection with the Raiders DC Patrick James who he played for in Green Bay and New York. In his last four healthy seasons, he averaged nearly 150 tackles. He is someone I would put on my watch list and pick up if he gets signed.

Shaquille Leonard (LB) – Indianapolis Colts

Leonard has been ruled out for Week 3. On a positive note, he has been getting in some practice time so there is hope that he will be back soon. Back injuries are tricky so the Colts are probably just playing it safe but if he starts missing practices and is ruled out in Week 4 then it might be time to worry.

Aaron Donald (DL) – Los Angeles Rams

Donald is off to a slow start. He has failed to record three tackles in either game this season while last season he had fewer than three tackles only once! He has Arizona this week which could be a tough matchup but after that, he has San Francisco, Dallas, and Carolina. There will be better days ahead for Donald.
