Saturday-Night-Football-Player-Prop-Bets-cowboys-lions

Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season is here and the NFL playoffs are just around the corner. Wrapping up the 2023 year, Week 17 has several key matchups to follow this week. One of the biggest games this week is undoubtedly the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Detroit Lions on Saturday night.

On Saturday night, 8:15 EST, Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys will be hosting Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions. While fans will have their eyes glued to the game, watching every play with the utmost attention, sports bettors only care about making money. However, which prop bets will lead to cash in their pockets? Here are my 7 favorite player prop bets for this Saturday night game.

All props and odds are from DraftKings.

CeeDee Lamb Any Time Touchdown (-155)

This may seem obvious based on the odds alone, but I am very confident it is happening. Additionally, the Lions have allowed the fifth most points to the fantasy wide receivers on the season. Furthermore, the Lions have struggled against WR1 giving up big games to players like Justin Jefferson, D.J. Moore, and Chris Olave. Furthermore, WR1’s against the Lions have scored a touchdown in five of the last six games.

CeeDee Lamb 2+ Touchdowns (+250)

Yes, I am doubling down on Lamb this week and you should look into it. As stated above, WR1’s light up the Lions. Not to mention, wide receivers in general do well against them. I’m expecting Lamb to have a day against the Lions in what looks like to be a shootout. Lamb only has two multiple-touchdown games this season, and I easily see a third. Fire this up if you believe in me! Keep in mind, just sprinkle this player prop bet to juice up the odds.

David Montgomery OVER 53.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

For as good as the Cowboys defense has been, they tend to struggle against running backs. In addition, the Lions have a top-5 offensive line and love to run the ball. Furthermore, the Cowboys have given up over 53 yards seven times this season to one single player. Moreover, Montgomery hasn’t been below 53 rushing yards since Week 6.

Dak Prescott OVER 285.5 Passing Yards (-115)

Additionally, at home for the 2023 season, Prescott has averaged 303 yards a game. Furthermore, the Lions just gave up 441 yards to Nick Mullens and have given up over 285 yards three times this season. In addition, players like Geno Smith, and Lamar Jackson make up the other two and Prescott shall do the same. Moreover, coming off a close loss to the Miami Dolphins, Prescott is looking for revenge to hold onto that No.2 spot in the playoffs.

Amon-Ra St. Brown OVER 81.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Amon-Ra St. Brown should easily see nine-plus targets, and when he does he averages 105.3 yards. Easy smash play here as he should surpass 10 targets in this game.

Brandin Cooks Alternate 50+ Receiving Yards (+130)

Over his last four games, Cooks’ yardage has continued to decline. Furthermore, from Weeks 10 through 13, Cooks met this mark twice, missing the other totals by eight and five yards. However, he should see a bounce back here as K.J. Osborn just lit them up for 95 yards and a touchdown.

Jahmyr Gibbs Alternate 25+ Receiving Yards (-125)

The Lions are going to have to do everything they can to keep up with the Cowboys. Additionally, look for Goff to dump off to Gibbs. Players like Christian McCaffrey, Austin Ekeler, and D’Andre Swift have seen 25-plus receiving yards against the Cowboys. Therefore, Gibbs should also see his name added to this list.
