Top 24 Dynasty Wide Receiver Rankings (2024)

Top-24-Dynasty-Wide-Receiver-Rankings-2024

The 2023 NFL regular season is over. While the playoffs are still happening, that doesn’t matter to dynasty fantasy football players. We want something to do here and now related to fantasy football.

Thankfully, there isn’t much of an offseason for those who play in dynasty leagues. There are always trades to make and rankings to update.

While the head coaching cycle, free agency, and the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft will force me to alter these rankings several times before the start of summer, here are my top 24 non-rookie dynasty wide receivers.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Top 12 WR Rankings

1) Ja’Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals

The WR1 spot is a debate between three elite players. However, Chase has the best quarterback of the trio. Furthermore, he is the only one guaranteed to play with his quarterback past 2024. While the former LSU star has never finished a season as the WR1, Chase has never finished lower than WR13 any year despite missing time with injuries.

2) Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

While Kirk Cousins could return next season, the Vikings need to find their quarterback of the future. If the team gets Jayden Daniels during the 2024 NFL Draft, Jefferson could reclaim the WR1 title starting in 2025.

3) CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys

Lamb was always considered a superstar wide receiver, but he took his game to another level this year. After a slow start, the former Oklahoma star was unguardable in the second half of the season. Assuming he is catching passes from Dak Prescott for the next several years, Lamb is a top-three dynasty wide receiver.

4) Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions

Unlike the first three wide receivers in my dynasty rankings, St. Brown wasn’t a first-round NFL Draft pick. Yet, the former USC star is one of the top wide receivers in the league. Despite the Lions adding weapons to their passing game in the offseason, St. Brown had a career year in 2023, totaling double-digit receiving touchdowns.

5) A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

While the Eagles’ offense was horrific to end the year, Brown was outstanding most of the season. He had seven games with over 110 receiving yards, including six consecutive contests. Hopefully, Philadelphia will make the coaching changes needed to get the offense back on track next year.

6) Garrett Wilson, New York Jets

Many had high hopes for Wilson in 2023. Unfortunately, those hopes were dashed after Aaron Rodgers suffered a torn Achilles five minutes into the season. However, the Hall of Fame quarterback will return next year. The Jets need to find their heir apparent for Rodgers if Wilson will keep his top-10 dynasty value.

7) Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

Some will call me crazy for putting a fifth-round rookie in my top seven dynasty wide receiver rankings. I don’t care – Nacua is legit. He broke two rookie receiving records, including one that stood for decades. The rookie was the WR4 in half-point PPR scoring, posting a higher fantasy points per game average than A.J. Brown, Stefon Diggs, and Ja’Marr Chase.

8) D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears

Whether Justin Fields or Caleb Williams is playing quarterback for Chicago in 2024, Moore will have a talented passer throwing him the ball. After years of sub-par quarterback production with the Carolina Panthers, the former Maryland star had his first top-six finish despite playing four games with Tyson Bagent as the starting quarterback this season.

9) Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints

While many want to believe the gap between Garrett Wilson and Olave is significant, that isn’t the case. Despite struggling to connect with Derek Carr for most of the season, Olave was a top-20 wide receiver this year. The Saints don’t have the means to add meaningful competition for targets this offseason. Therefore, don’t be surprised if the former Ohio State star has a third-year breakout in 2024.

10) Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers

Deebo Samuel and Aiyuk were top-15 wide receivers in half-point PPR scoring this season. However, Aiyuk is the younger receiver and the less injury-prone one. Furthermore, he will likely stick with the 49ers in the long run, while Samuel could get cut or traded during the 2025 offseason.

11) Drake London, Atlanta Falcons

Unfortunately, London hasn’t become a fantasy star because of Arthur Smith and inconsistent quarterback production. Thankfully, Smith is gone, and the Falcons should improve the quarterback position in the offseason. Despite playing with one hand tied behind his back in the NFL, London has had back-to-back years with over 860 receiving yards.

12) Nico Collins, Houston Texans

After struggling in his first two NFL seasons, Collins was outstanding in 2023. The arrival of C.J. Stroud turned the former Michigan star into one of the top deep-threat wide receivers in the NFL. Houston’s offense should be one of the most fantasy-friendly for the next several years.

13) Tank Dell, Houston Texans

While Puka Nacua was the clear-cut top rookie wide receiver, Dell also had a star-level rookie season. Unfortunately, a broken fibula in Week 13 ended his rookie year. However, he should be 100% healthy before the start of next season and will be part of an elite fantasy offense.

14) Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs

The 2023 NFL Draft class was loaded with star rookie wide receivers. Rice is the third rookie to crack my top-14 after having an impressive year as Patrick Mahomes’ No. 1 wide receiver. With Travis Kelce nearing the end of his career, the rookie could have several as the WR1 for fantasy players in the future.

15) Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins

Unfortunately, Waddle had a disappointing 2023 season, ending the year as the WR34, averaging 11.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, he was the WR7 the season before. Tyreek Hill will turn 30 during the offseason and could start to regress next year. Waddle should bounce back in 2024 and return to his top-15 level of play.

16) Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals

Higgins had a disappointing 2023 season, like Jaylen Waddle. However, his dynasty value could drastically change in the offseason. The former Clemson star is a free agent and might not return to Cincinnati. Higgins’ fantasy value could improve or take a massive hit, depending on where he lands.

17) DK Metcalf, Seattle Seahawks

Seattle used a 2023 first-round pick on Jaxon Smith-Njigba. However, Metcalf remains the clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver for the Seahawks moving forward. The former Ole Miss star has had at least 900 receiving yards every year of his career. More importantly, Tyler Lockett’s time in Seattle might be coming to an end.

18) Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts

Despite playing most of the 2023 season with Gardner Minshew under center, Pittman had a career year, totaling 109 receptions for 1,152 receiving yards and 12.2 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. While he is a free agent, the Colts likely won’t let him walk in the offseason. It will be interesting to see how Pittman plays with Anthony Richardson next year.

19) DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles have several questions to answer in the offseason. There are rumors that A.J. Brown will request a trade, but that won’t happen. Yet, Smith is still a top-20 dynasty wide receiver. While he had a disappointing 2023 season, the former Alabama star was a top-10 wide receiver the year before.

20) Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens

Flowers is the first rookie wide receiver in my rankings that went in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The former Boston College star was the WR30 as a rookie, averaging 10.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Baltimore doesn’t have anyone who can challenge him for targets moving forward. Furthermore, Mark Andrews is nearing the age of 30, meaning Flowers could become Lamar Jackson’s go-to target in a year or two.

21) Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers

While Christian Watson is a talented young player, Reed is Green Bay’s No. 1 wide receiver moving forward. The former Michigan State star is electric in the receiving game and on the ground. Jordan Love is the real deal, giving Reed an added bump in my rankings.

22) Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins

Anyone who plays dynasty fantasy football knows age plays a massive role in a player’s fantasy value. Hill is the only wide receiver in my top 24 that will be 30 or older during the 2024 season. However, that could change over the next few months. Hill dealt with injuries this year and has plans to retire after the 2025 season.

23) Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings

The one thing that kept Addison from being higher in my rankings is Justin Jefferson. Unfortunately, the rookie will never be the Vikings’ No. 1 wide receiver. Yet, he had an impressive rookie season. Addison was the WR21, averaging 11 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The rookie finished fourth in the NFL with 10 receiving touchdowns, only behind Mike Evans, Tyreek Hill, and CeeDee Lamb.

24) George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers

Hopefully, the Steelers fix their quarterback situation in the offseason. Diontae Johnson and Pickens have failed to live up to their talent because of a merry-go-round of poor quarterback production since Ben Roethlisberger’s best years. Pickens flashed star talent in 2023 and could have a breakout year in 2024 with the right quarterback.
