Waiver Wire Pickups for IDP Fantasy Leagues – Week 7

Waiver Wire Pickups for IDP Fantasy Leagues - Week 7

We’re bringing on some of the most notable IDP waiver wire pickups for fantasy football leagues in Week 7. And there could be NFL players who should or could be available at different format levels each week. Allowing us to either start them in Week 7 or stash them on your bench for next time. Or simple enough, if we have the room or the expendables on our benches. We can get ahead and stack our depth deeper if at all possible for the fantasy football season long haul.

Waiver Wire Pickups for IDP Fantasy Leagues

ILB – Blake Cashman – HOU

The Texan’s long-time NFL journeyman inside ILB saw a window and ran through it like a bull in a glass house. The former Jet that didn’t quite work out before. Blake Cashman is now the more notable ILB prospect to secure going forward in Houston.

In that window. Cashman has recorded 14 solos, 10 assists, four tackles for a loss, and added two passes defended. And according to PFF, he secured an elite grade in all aspects of his game while doing so. And with Christain Harri’s fall from the lineup and Denzel Perryman struggling some.

It now looks like a lock that Cashman and Henry To’oTo’o will be the starting ILBs after the Week 7 bye-week. When they play the Panthers, who don’t offer as solid a matchup as his role and his knack for getting after the ball. Which we’ll call upside we can add to every contest no matter how weak or strong it may be.

Week 7 IDP Rolling Waiver Wire Pickups

SAF – Tre’von Moehrig – LVR
WK7 – Strong @CHI
WK8 – Solid @DET
WK9 – Solid -NYG

The Raider’s Tre’von Moehrig isn’t a household name after letting managers down so much in the past. Yet this season he’s been constant overall. And Moehrig hasn’t really faltered much from any matchup strength. Landing him as a solid option and facing the number one overall safety-friendly team in the NFL. So although that ceiling might look capped. It should mean even more than just feeling a hole with a long-shot bye-week play in Week 7.

DE/Edge – George Karlaftis – KAN
WK7 – Strong -LAC
WK8 – Solid @DEN
WK9 – Solid -MIAKansa City’s edge rusher George Karlaftis hasn’t lit it up consecutively this season. However, those he has have been borderline DL1 performances. And despite the newfound competition among the DLs trying to make an impact. There will be alot to go around in standard formats for all three key contributors up front in this contest.

Chris Jones, Michael Danna, and Karlaftis versus the Chargers in a very hot top-10 matchup on paper. Who we’ll add, has allowed mass production off the edge and interior for many seasons in a row now. So if he’s on the waiver wire because of week three to five results. His Week 6 box score has helped secure Karlaftis as a solid bye-week option with upside at home this Week 7 contest.

ILB – Dorian Williams – BUF (Hot)
WK7 – Solid @NWE
WK8 – Solid -TAM
WK9 – Solid @CIN

If you haven’t heard, last week Buffalo’s main ILB Matt Milano broke his leg during Week 5. And because of the schematics of who came in for him during that contest. The rookie Dorian Williams may still be free on your league’s waiver wire at the moment. Which most of all the IDP community didn’t think would start over the guy who did come in directly for Milano. Leaving the original favorite, Tyrel Dodson expendable. At least if we’re trying to recover our waiver wire misfire and can take another run at it this week.
