Week 11 DraftKings Bargain Bin Plays and DFS Values

Week-11-DraftKings-Bargain-Bin-Plays-and-DFS-Values

Week 11 is upon us and the Sunday main slate is giving us a challenge. The Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on their bye weeks. The Titans and Packers kick things off on Thursday Night Football this week while the Chiefs and Chargers are on Sunday night. Capping it off Monday night we have the 49ers at the Cardinals.

Looking over the slate, we have 11 games going and the biggest struggle will be playing running backs. We won’t be able to have the likes of Derrick Henry, Austin Ekeler, Travis Etienne, Christian McCaffrey, Kenneth Walker, and Aaron Jones. Luckily, we get to play Saquon Barkley as the top running back play, and then there’s everyone else with questions.

Keep an eye on the weather reports as Buffalo is expected to get 4ft-6ft of snow from now until Sunday morning.

QUARTERBACKS

Daniel Jones ($5,700)

For the third week in a row Daniel Jones is the same cost. What gives? You are playing Jones for his rushing upside against the Detroit Lions. Last week, the Lions gave up 147 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Justin Fields. We should look to get Jones in a couple of lineups in the hope of his rushing upside kicks in.

Davis Mills ($5,200)

Davis Mills has been showing signs of regression compared to last season. The Washington Commanders’ defense is coming off a good victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Coming to Houston, this game could be turnover prone for Tyler Heinicke which could flip the switch for Mills and have a bounce-back game.

RUNNING BACKS

Brian Robinson Jr. ($5,300)

What a game rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. had for himself Monday night rushing for a career-high in carries (26) and rushing yards (86). He also added a touchdown. Robinson has had double-digit carries in four of his last six games and Ron Rivera just keeps giving him the ball even though his 3.3 YPC hasn’t been great at all. The benefit this week is he gets the league’s worst rush defense and will look to break 100 yards and possibly another touchdown.

James Robinson ($5,200)

Going into his third game as a Jet, James Robinson has a good bet to be the thunder to Michael Carter’s lightning. New England may rank (#2 overall) highly against the running back but this offense is a run-heavy one. This game doesn’t scare me away from Robinson, and I even like Michael Carter ($5,400) too as he scored 10.1 DK points in the last matchup.

Kareem Hunt ($5,100)

It’s been hard to play Kareem Hunt, but as his cost continues to drop, I get more and more interested in him. Sure he’s inconsistent and everyone is off of him, so now is the time to play him while the value is cheap! Hoping for a heavy target game here against Buffalo and plenty of work on the ground if it’s going to be a tough one to throw in.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Allen Robinson II ($5,600)

With Cooper Kupp being out for the upcoming weeks, it should put Allen Robinson in the WR1 seat. Since Week 2 he has seen no less than five targets a game. The loss of Kupp could be the addition that Robinson really needs as he and Kupp saw 10+ targets in half the games this season. Expect Robinson to shine this week.

Adam Thielen ($5,500)

In fantasy football, we were all drafting Adam Thielen because of his touchdown upside. With only two to his name, I’m not about the touchdowns, but the opportunity. Since Week 2, Thielen has seen no less than seven targets a game. Even with the addition of T.J. Hockenson, I thought he would take a hit, but the addition of the tight end has helped Thielen. As a true #2 on this offense, I expect Thielen to be open early and often in the slot.

Darnell Mooney ($5,400)

The rushing upside of Justin Fields and Cole Kmet begin to merge, as Darnell Mooney urns into the second option. Don’t overlook Mooney because of Kmet’s breakout in progress, because he only saw four targets. Remember, he caught all four of them and turned that into 57 yards. Mooney gets an Atlanta defense that ranks dead last against wide receivers. Just be sure to keep up an eye on the status of Falcons CB A.J. Terrell. If he’s out, Mooney is an easy play.

Michael Gallup ($5,100)

Dak Prescott looked good last week, even with his two interceptions. Michael Gallup hasn’t been much this year, but he was third (8) in targets and has shown improvement each week as he comes back from his ACL injury. What a good week to go up against the Minnesota Vikings whose secondary is extremely thin and ranks near the bottom (29th) against wide receivers.

Donovan Peoples-Jones ($4,600)

When the Cleveland Browns are away, it looks like a good time to stay away from Amari Cooper and pivot to Donovan Peoples-Jones. In every away game this season, Peoples-Jones has scored at least 12 DraftKings points. Last week he led the team in targets (9), receptions (5), and yards (99). Six games in a row DPJ has had over 50 plus yards, I see that streak continuing here.

Nico Collins ($4,100)

Finally, I don’t know if it’s the end of Brandin Cooks but Nico Collins getting 10 targets this last week has my attention. He led the Texans in targets, pacing the way in receptions (5) but only finishing with 49 yards and a touchdown. This could be a start to the Texans top option going forward.

TIGHT ENDS

Greg Dulcich ($3,800)

Oh, how the tight end position just frustrates us. After three solid games, the rookie tight end gives us a stinker with one reception for 11 yards. The Raiders (27th against tight ends) have not given a touchdown to a tight end in four straight games. The last one was Week 5 when Travis Kelce caught four of them. With Jerry Jeudy looking to be out, I see Dulcich bouncing back.

Hayden Hurst ($3,500)

In Week 9 Hayden Hurst had 22 of his final 35 yards in the first half as the Bengals were blowing out the Panthers. This week against the Steelers, I see him being needed more. With T.J. Watt back in the Steelers lineup, they caused havoc in the backfield for Andy Dalton.

His leading receiver was Juwan Johnson with five receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown. Adam Trautman also added two receptions for another 22 yards. With Ja’Marr Chase still out of the lineup, I see Hurst making a difference and has the potential to finish as a top-five tight end this week.
