Waiver Wire Pickups, Wide Receivers – Week 10 (2023)

Waiver-Wire-Pickups-Wide-Receivers-Week-10-2023

Welcome back to another edition of Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups. We’re heading into Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season. Keep in mind that this week we have three high-powered offenses on their bye. In this article, we’re focusing on the top wide receivers you should look at on the waiver wire or to spend your FAAB on. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will need to be on your bench as the Chiefs have their bye week. Additionally, Jalen Hurts and the talented Eagles offense will not be playing.

Surprisingly, the Houston Texans offense led by C.J. Stroud had a Sunday to remember. Throwing for 470 yards and five touchdowns. What a week for the Texans. He should be viewed not only as a QB1 going forward but the clear-cut candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Also, is it safe to say Taysom Hill is an elite tight end?

For your fantasy football teams, adding the right players off the waiver wire is absolutely crucial to your fantasy football success. Follow along with us all season long and we’ll help you make your way into the fantasy football playoffs.

With the above in mind, no matter our record, there are always areas to improve. Regardless of your situation, here are the top wide receivers you should look to add for Week 10 based on CBS Fantasy Sports roster percentages. These players are listed in order of priority. Let’s get right into it with the top waiver wire pickups for your fantasy football teams as we head into Week 10!

For this waiver wire column, we are only looking at players rostered in less than 60% of leagues according to CBS Fantasy as of 11/7/23.

Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Pickups

Demario Douglas, WR, New England Patriots (42% Rostered)

With Kendrick Bourne out for the season and DeVante Parker out with a concussion it looked like Douglas could make an immediate impact. Although his stat line (5/55) didn’t seem like much, he led all Patriots wide receivers in snaps and routes run. All things considered, he looks like an up-and-coming rookie who is worth up to 5% of your remaining FAAB.

Noah Brown, WR, Houston Texans (1% Rostered)

Now this might be a hard one to add as C.J. Stroud and all the Houston Texans pass catchers had a day. For the majority of the afternoon, the Texans held the top fantasy scorers across all positions. Additionally, he caught all six of his targets for 153 yards and a touchdown. Clearly, the running game here isn’t working as Devin Singletary (13/26) struggled to run. All in all, Brown is worth 1% of your remaining FAAB off the waiver wire.

See if available: Nathaniel “Tank” Dell (77%) Tied Dalton Schultz in targets (11) and was second with six receptions. Call him small all you want but he looks like a WR2 when healthy in this offense.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba (67%) It’s hard to tell as DK Metcalf struggled as did most of the Seahawks offense against Baltimore. He looks to be on the verge of breaking out here and needs to be rostered in all leagues.

Jahan Dotson (69%) Dotson is now on a two-week touchdown streak with Curtis Samuel out of the lineup. We may have been too early on Dotson who saw eight targets Sunday. All in all, he needs to be added to all benches.
