We have a small slate today for the night games, but here are my best bets for today in the MLB.
Today’s MLB Best Bets and Player Prop Bets
Diamondbacks @ Giants – Over 7.5 Runs ( -118 DraftKings)
In what could be a high-scoring matchup, this total seems low. Logan Webb is a good pitcher who is averaging 2.5 runs given up per game. Additionally, Ryne Nelson is averaging 3 runs given up per game.
Furthermore, the Diamondbacks are 3rd in baseball for runs scored, while the Giants sit at 19. I think a more fair line for this game is 8.5 runs so I will happily take it here at 7.5. This is my first MLB Best Bet today.
A.J. Puk Player Prop – Under 4.5 Strikeouts (+120 DraftKings)
First off, AJ Puk has been awful this season. He has gone over this 4.5 line just 1 time in his 3 starts this season. Additionally, the Cubs are not a high-strikeout team coming in as the 10th-best in the league. I will sprinkle 0.75 units on this one at plus money. All things considered, this will be my Final MLB Best Bet for today’s smaller slate.
