Today’s MLB Best Bets and Player Prop Bets
Looking back, we went 16-11 last week. However, it’s a new week and we are starting on a clean slate, 0-0. Without further delay, here are my MLB best bets for today. Additionally, we have some player prop bets that you’ll want to tail us on. As well as a nice parlay that you might want to sprinkle on. Let’s get to it.
Chicago White Sox @ Minnesota Twins – Under 8.5 Total Runs (-115 DraftKings)
This game features 2 of the 3 lowest scoring teams in the MLB. 8.5 is a pretty decently high line for this game. This line should be 7.5 in my eyes, so getting an extra run is great value. According to Ballpark Pal, the weather is expected to affect the runs scored in this game -13%. Overall, this is good enough for the second-highest negative effect due to the weather of all games today. All in all, this is my favorite bet for today’s slate.
Chicago White Sox @ Minnesota Twins – NRFI (-115 DraftKings)
Not much needs to be said here that wasn’t said in the write-up above. I don’t think there will be high scoring in this game. At -115 I like the odds here for my second best bet of the day.
Brewers @ Pittsburgh Pirates NRFI + 6 Or More Strikeouts Jared Jones (+125 DraftKings)
This is projected to be a low-scoring game today. The Brewers have played in 9 of the last 10 days. I expect them to come out slow against a good pitcher like Jared Jones. The Pirates have also played in 9 of the last 10 games. Furthermore, Jones has thrown 6 strikeouts in every single start this season.

Brewers @ Pirates Under 11.5 Total Runs + Jared Jones 6+ Strikeouts X Padres ML + Dylan Cease 6+ Strikeouts X Hunter Greene 6+ Strikeouts + Trea Turner Over 0. 5 Hits.
These are the three best pitcher matchups that ran through the Ballpark Pal simulator for today. We added on some other plays like the under in the Brewers game which we think will be low-scoring, and the Padres Moneyline, who I think should win easily at Coors Field tonight. Lastly, the Trea Turner to get a hit was thrown in thanks to his 10-game hit streak. Additionally, he has solid career numbers against Hunter Greene batting .556 in 9 plate appearances. This will be our last MLB best bet of the day. Keep in mind, that this is a high-odds parlay, so bet accordingly.
