MLB Best Bets Today + <a rel=Manny Machado Prop Bet” width=”735″ height=”414″ />

Welcome to our newest series, featuring our MLB best bets of the day. We appreciate you stopping by! Here you will find our expert handicapper Pete Nova who analyzes the latest player statistics, statistics, and trends to bring you the best daily MLB picks.

If you have been enjoying following the MLB best bets series, we went 0-1 yesterday to move our record to 7-6 on the week. Unfortunately, we have gotten unlucky with rain outs so our cards haven’t been as big. However, today we have a big card for you to bounce back with us.

If you are not following Pete Nova on Twitter, you might miss out on some late additions to the daily betting card. To stay updated with any new additions to the daily card, check out my latest updates on Twitter.

Without further delay, here are my MLB best bets for today. Along with some player prop bets that you’ll want to tail us on. Let’s get to it.

Today’s MLB Best Bets and Player Prop Bets

Manny Machado Over 0.5 Hits + Nolan Arenado Over 0.5 Hits Parlay (+154 Caesars

We start off with a player prop Parlay. Manny Machado has hit this line in 9 of his last 10 games. Particularly, in the last 8 games. Additionally, this is a righty-on-right matchup but Balparkpal.com gives him the edge in this matchup.

Similar to Machado, Nolan Arenado also has a hit in 9 of his last 10 games. Impressively, he is on a 7 game-hit streak. Arenado also has a .389 batting average over 20 plate appearances against Freddy Peralta who is on the mound today. Let’s hit a nice builder parlay for the first MLB best bet of the day.

Reds + Sean Manaea No Win Parlay (+110 DraftKings)

We are going to go with another builder here with our second MLB Best Bet. Today the Reds square off against the Angels. The Angels are 2-4 in their last 6 games, while the Reds are 3-3. The Reds are the better team with the better pitcher so I like them. In addition, we have Sean Manaea to not record a win. Needless to say, I’m a fan of Manaea against this stellar Dodgers offense. Let’s hammer this for the second bet of the day.

Chris Sale Over 6.5 Strikeouts (-120 BetMGM)

Chris Sale didn’t have this best outing against the Marlins last week. But even in this outing, he was able to secure 7 strikeouts against a team that’s the 12th-best at not striking out. Furthermore, this Rangers lineup doesn’t strike out a ton, but they are lefty-heavy and don’t project well against his pitch mix. I will go ahead and take the over in this one.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-122 FanDuel)

Yamamoto has hit this prop in the last two starts. In this matchup, the Mets are not a high-strikeout team coming in at 4th lowest in the league. However, I do believe they will be chasing runs due to the Dodger’s lethal offense.

Orioles @ Royals – Early Win Token Moneyline ( -142 DraftKings)

When doing the early win token I have said it before, I try to target the away teams. Typically, this is because they can cash us out in the first inning. With that being said I like the Orioles in the matchup overall. The Orioles’ bats have a pretty large advantage according to Ballparkpal.com. All things considered, I like them in this for my fifth bet on the slate.

Orioles @ Royals – Over 9 Total Runs (-110 DraftKings)

Finally, I like this line a lot here between the Royals and Orioles. As you can tell, I think we are going to see some runs in this one. The Orioles offense has been hot and I expect that to continue here.
